At least 70 wounded, two killed after four rounds of Iranian attack slam Israel

Iran said on Friday the dialogue with the US over Tehran's nuclear programme is "meaningless" after Israel's biggest-ever military strike against its longstanding enemy, accusing Washington of supporting the attack.

"The other side (the US) acted in a way that makes dialogue meaningless. You cannot claim to negotiate and at the same time divide work by allowing the Zionist regime (Israel) to target Iran's territory," the semi-official Tasnim news agency quoted foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei as saying.

He said Israel "succeeded in influencing" the diplomatic process and the Israeli attack would not have happened without Washington's permission.

Fire and Rescue services are working to free two people believed to be trapped under the rubble after an Iranian projectile impacted on a civilian site on Saturday morning. 

There are reports that a two-month-old baby may be trapped under the rubble. 

14 people were wounded in the impact, one of whom is in critical condition.

Magen David Adom announced it had received reports of a rocket impact in central Israel on Saturday morning, and that it was sending emergency crews to the scene. 

Rocket sirens sounded across most of the country on Saturday morning. 

Residents of the central region reported hearing loud explosions. No injuries have been reported at this time.

Citizens in northern Israel may now leave their shelters, per IDF instruction.

However, the IDF stressed following Home Front Command guidelines and remaining close to protected spaces.

Rocket sirens sounded around the Sea of Galilee on Saturday morning after Iran launched its attack on Israel. 

The Israel Navy has intercepted five UAVs from Iran since Friday morning, the military said in a statement. 

After the third barrage of ballistic missiles fired from Iran, the Home Front Command updated that it is currently allowed to leave the protected areas, but to remain nearby in case of further fire.

Fire and rescue teams are operating in the village of Taiba.

At this time, the authorities have not reported any casualties or trapped people. 

The IDF urged citizens of Israel not to publish the location of rocket impacts on social media on Saturday.
